Lee J. Kozie, Sr.1927 - 2013Lee J. Kozie Sr. D.P.M. Passed Away on Wednesday May 29, 2013 at Aurora Memorial Hospital of Burlington. He was born on Aug. 29, 1927, in Chicago, Ill. The Son of the late Leon and Adele (Kleczewski) Kozakiewicz. On April 15, 1950 in Chicago, Ill. He was united in marriage to Shirley Annabelle Woessner. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. Lee was a Podiatrist D.P.M. During his life Lee was a member of the Twin Lakes V.F.W., and the Lions Club. He was also an Alumni and former teacher at the Illinois College of Podiatric Medicine, and a member of the APMA and IPMA. He is survived by his wife Shirley; five children, Janice Lee Kozie, Claudette Collier, Kevin Kozie D.P.M., Lee J. Kozie, Jr. and Scott Kozie; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild; two brothers, Ed Kay and Jerome Kozie D.D.S.A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, June 3, 2013, at 11 a.m. at St. Johns Catholic Church 701 N. Lake Ave. Twin Lakes, WI. Interment will be in St. Johns Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. - 6 p.m. on Sunday June 2, 2013 at the Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home 620 Legion Dr. Twin Lakes, WI.
