ST. JOE — Lelah Mae Ervin, 94, died Monday, August 24, 2015, at her granddaughter's home in St. Joe, Indiana. She was born on April 24, 1921, in Newville, Indiana, to the late Romeo and Nellie (Warner) Richards. She married Walter Scott Ervin on January 6, 1940, in Spencerville, Indiana, and he preceded her in death on August 4, 2010. Surviving are a daughter, Jean (Phil) Pinkerton of Auburn, Indiana; her grandchildren, Cheryl (Joe) Terry of St. Joe, Indiana, and Eric (Hollie) Kessler of Lafayette, Indiana; her great-grandchildren, Paige and Payton Terry, and Grace and Caroline Kessler; her stepgrandchildren and stepgreat-grandchildren She was preceded in death by her brothers, Russell and Billy Richards, and her sisters, Anna Richards and Esther Coburn. She was a homemaker and helped on the farm. She enjoyed sewing, baking and spending time with her family. Calling will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2015, from 2-4 p.m. at Community Christian Center, 9228 Hicksville-Edgerton Road, Hicksville, Ohio.
