Marcoe, LeMoine A.LeMoine A. Marcoe, 91, formerly of Rosendale and North Fond du Lac, passed away on Tuesday, August 1, 2017, at All About Life Rehabilitation Center, surrounded by her loving family.She was a Valentine's sweetheart, born on February 14, 1926, in Curtiss, Wisconsin, a daughter of Engman M. and Mabel B.
Smith Gilbertson. She graduated from Fond du Lac Senior High School, and after school, she worked at the now Fond du Lac Reporter.On November 8, 1952, she married James "Jim" F. Marcoe at St. John's Church, Woodhull. They were married 64 years until Jim passed away on December 23, 2016.LeMoine was a full time homemaker and a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. They adored her, as did everyone who knew her throughout her life. She was a very gentle and kind person. LeMoine was a member of St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church, North Fond du Lac.She is survived by five children: Jim Jr. (Jean) Marcoe of Eldorado, Diane Becker of Van Dyne, Nancy (Mike) Pfeifer of Fond du Lac, Jody (Tanya) Marcoe of Oakfield, and Julie (Darrell) Fohr of Butternut, Wisconsin; nine grandchildren: Mike (Sheri) Becker, Sheila (Scott) Stettbacher, Greg (Steph) Becker, Brian Becker, Erin (Justin) Bader, Tori (Mitchell) Pollesch, Samantha (Dave) Witt, Jenna Marcoe, and Kylie Marcoe; four step-grandchildren: Aaron, Krista, Brandon, and Jenna Anderson; and ten great-grandchildren: Carson, Lauren, Drew, Layla, Eleanor, Camdin, Beckitt, Preslie, Aubrey, and Micah. She is further survived by two sisters: Phyllis Jahns and Janet White, both of Fond du Lac; one brother, Harold (Carol) Gilbertson of Appleton; two sisters-in-law, Gloria Marcoe of Cedar Rapids, Iowa and Colleen Usher of Nevada; and many loving nieces, nephews, and friends.LeMoine was preceded in death by her parents, Engman and Mabel Gilbertson; her husband, Jim; a son-in-law, Dennis Becker; her mother and father-in-law, Viola and Walter Marcoe; two sisters: Marjorie Gilbertson and Elaine (Wally) Hallwachs; one brother, Howard Gilbertson; and brothers-in-law: Melvin Jahns, Jerry White, James Langengeld, and David Marcoe.VISITATION: The visitation will be from 10:00 - 12:00 p.m. on Friday, August 4, 2017, at St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church, 1010 Adams Avenue, North Fond du Lac.SERVICE: The funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday at St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church with Rev.
