Lena Snoda Votaw, 86, Campbellsville, passed away Saturday, Jan. 28, 2017 at Taylor Regional Hospital.She was born on Oct. 29, 1930 in Springfield. Votaw was a former member of Stewarts Creek Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by: parents, Joshua L. and Mimmie Lanham Begley; three sisters, Myrtle Roution, Judy James, and Edith Mae Begley; and two brothers, James and J.T. Begley. Survivors include: husband, Oliver Votaw of Campbellsville; three sisters, Juanita Wilson of Louisville, Mildred Burns of Elizabethtown, and Margaret Tharp of Harrodsburg; special friends, Ann and Raymond Hollins; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 2, at Bosley Funeral Home, Lebanon, with interment in Ryder Cemetery. Rev. Dan Durham officiated and was assisted by Rev. Ramond Hollins.Pallbearers were Kelvin Burns, Rubel Janes, Tommy Pinkston, Chad Votaw, Todd Votaw, and Terry Yankey.Bosley Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
