Lenard D. "Zep" ChevalierCROOKSVILLE: Lenard D. "Zep" Chevalier, 89, of Crooksville, passed away on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at his home, surrounded by his loving family. Lenard was born on February 23, 1927 in Mainsville, the son of the late, Charles "Pete" and Cora (Kinney) Chevalier.He was a member of the Bear Run Baptist Church in Crooksville. Lenard worked for the Perry County Engineers office as a truck driver and he worked for several local potteries. Lenard is survived by his wife of 65 years, Bonnie JoAnn (Morgan) Chevalier of the home; his sons and daughters-in-law, Ronald (Mary) Chevalier of Junction City, Donald (Kathy) Chevalier, Douglas (Sharon) Chevalier, Gary (Penny) Chevalier, Tom (Louise) Chevalier, Rick (Jane Dennis) Chevalier and Rob Chevalier all of Crooksville; his daughters and sons-in-law, Peggy (Albert) Kinney, Kathy Larrick both of Crooksville and Debbie (Dave) Love of Cannelville; his sisters. Corabelle Savage of Crooksville and Dorothy Allen of New Lexington; his many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and his eight great-great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Lenard is proceeded in death by his grandchildren, Laura Sue Chevalier, Brandon Chevalier, Whitney Chevalier, Clay Davis, Brian Chevalier and Tom "Shorty" Chevalier; his great-grandson, Austin Kinney and his great-granddaughter, Keisha Kinney; his sisters, Shirley Chevalier, Rosella Van Horn, Lourena McArtor and Adella Chevalier; his brothers, Milford Chevalier and Glenn Chevalier and his sons-in-law, Ed Larrick and Adrian Davis.Family and friends will be received, 2:00 PM-4:00 PM and 6:00 PM-8:00 PM, Sunday, November 27, 2016 at the GOEBEL FUNERAL HOME, 36 N. BUCKEYE ST., CROOKSVILLE. Funeral services and a celebration of Lenard's life will be 11:00 AM, Monday, November 28 at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Iliff Cemetery in McLuney.
