Lennie was a very simple and gentle soul, raised by his Aunt Clara in smalltown Monteray until she peacefully passed away and was then looked after by George Milton. The two were two peas in a pod, always traveling together everywhere they went. He enjoyed small creatures and being close to Mr. Miller whenever possible.
In the year of 1935, he and George settled at a ranch in Salinas Valley, California. Lennie works there for about one month as a skinner there before he was killed by Mr. Miller.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 13, 1935 at noon at Grace Baptist Curch, 908 Rabbit Rd., Salinas Valley. Buriel will follow at Grace Baptist cemitery. All are welcome to attend.
