Leon was married to his beloved spouse, Helen Isom, in 1965. Together, they raised five children: Mark, Anthony, Karen, Issac, and David. Leon was a devoted father who took great pride in his family.

Leon was a hardworking man who spent many years as a steelworker. He was dedicated to his craft and took great satisfaction in a job well done.

Leon will be remembered for his kindness, his sense of humor, and his love for his family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
