Leon Drake Commadre Sr was born March 12,1933 in Sanford,North Carolina. To Betty McCoy and James Commadre.

On December 16th 2018 Leon Drake Commadre Sr. affectionately known as PoppaD was called home to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. 

Leon enjoyed building and racing muscle cars and playing numerous sports Football, Basketball, Baseball and Tennis. He also enjoyed Fishinf and spending time with his family. He loves to travel while enjoying the peace of the open roads which is what he did as a professional truck driver for 35 years. 

Leon will be forever and always loved and missed by his loved ones. He will always live in our memories. His final days were spend surrounded by his immediate family.

Charlie was preceded in death by his parents Mr. and Mrs. Commadre, his wife Minnie Mucho Commadre whim was called home with him and special friend Jacqueline D. Price.

Leon leaves to cherish his memory, his  Five children; Shaneka S. Williams, Leon D, Commadre  Jr, Lee H. Commadre, Bianca M. Jordan, and Chandler L. Commadre. Two brothers; Leonadre Commadre Sr., James Commadre seventeen grandchildren, nine great-grandchild, and a host of nieces and nephews.
