Leon Eddie Bush Jr, 72, of Troy, Alabama, passed unexpectantly on August 10, 2021. Leon was born on January 20, 1949. Eddie
was the son to Leon Sr. and Courtney Bush. Eddie graduated from Troy High School in 1968. After high school he began working at General Motors, later retiring from Delphi.

Eddie, affectionately known as “Paw Paw”, enjoyed grilling, playing cards and dominoes, and occasionally fishing and feeding ducks. He loved socializing in general and there was hardly a neighborhood that didn't know Eddie B. or Eddie Bush.

Eddie is preceded in death by his father, Leon Eddie Bush Sr., his mother, Courtney Bush, his wife, Deborah C. Bush, and his sister, Katrina, many aunts, uncles and other family members.

Eddie is survived and will be missed by his loving and devoted family, sons, Demetrick Moore and Damian Benson; daughters, Angela (Jacques) Norman, and Monique (Christopher) Abernathy; special nephew, Antawan Benson Sr.; brothers, Johnnie (Gail) Bush, David (Diana) Bush, and Michael Hugh; sisters, Elaine Bush and Rochelle Bush; grandchildren, Demeko, Denyla, Demi, Daisha, Justin, LaNia, Tierra, Sadaisha, Phillip and Sa'Rai; great grandchildren, Audrie, Audreya, Kaelyn, Aubrey, Mia, ShaNi, and Noah; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Funeral service will be held 11 am Saturday, August 21st, 2021 at Faith Temple Pentecostal Church of God, 1350 Kumler Ave. Visitation 9 am at the church until time of service. Family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Interment West Memory Gardens.
