It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Leona White, who was born on November 8, 2025, in Toledo, Ohio, United States, to parents Tavares White Jr and Caryss White. Leona tragically passed away on December 1, 2025, at such a tender age.

Leona leaves behind grieving parents, Tavares and Caryss, her big sister Imani and her uncle Bubba (Caleb), as well as other family members and friends who loved her dearly. Although her time on this earth was short, she brought immense joy and love to those around her.

Leona found joy in breastfeeding for comfort and sucking on her mommy’s and daddy’s fingers. Her innocent smile and gentle presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Unfortunately, Leona's life was cut short due to Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDs). While we may never fully understand why such tragedies occur, we take solace in knowing that Leona is now at peace and watching over us from above.

May Leona Rose forever rest in peace, knowing she was cherished and loved by many during her short time with us.
