Leonard Abner NeffZANESVILLE: Leonard Abner Neff, 81, of Zanesville died at 2:45 am Wednesday, April 01, 2015 at the Genesis Morrison House Hospice.He was born on November 17, 1933 in Zanesville, Ohio the son of Warren and Elizabeth (Ziemba) Neff.Leonard was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church and a US Navy veteran having served in Korea. He retired from Rockwell International in 1986 after 30 years of service; was a life member of both the American Legion & the VFW. Leonard enjoyed working on cars, golfing with his buddy Jack Hardwick & riding his motorcycle. He is survived by two sons, Joe (Cynthia) Neff and Sam Neff of Zanesville; grandchildren, Megan Neff, Chelsea Neff, Austin Neff, Marissa Neff and Joseph Neff; two brothers, Dave (Christy) Neff and Tom Neff; a sister, Jean Donnelly; several nieces and nephews and numerous friends.He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Linda L. (Savage) Neff; his brothers, Jim Neff, Thadeus Neff, Warren Neff; and a sister, Francis Neff. Friends may call 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Friday, April 03, 2015 at the Bryan & Hardwick Funeral Home where funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM with Fr. Peter Fegan, O.P., officiating.
