Ouradnik, Leonard G. "Chubs"Leonard G. "Chubs" Ouradnik, age 69, of 312 Sandy Lane, Mishicot, died early Wednesday morning, October 30, 2013, at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, Manitowoc.Leonard was born on August 26, 1944, in the Town of Two Rivers, a son of the late William and Violet (Popelka) Ouradnik, Sr. He graduated from Two Rivers Washington High School. On June 26, 1965, he married Sandra Gilbert in Two Rivers. She preceded him in death on November 23, 2012. Leonard was the owner/operator of Painting Plus for many years. Chubs enjoyed many touring rides with Sandy on their motorcycle, casino trips, gardening and especially spending time with family. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law: Dean and Lynn Ouradnik, Manitowoc; one son-in-law: Tom Miller, Two Rivers; four grandchildren: Heather (Zach) Schleis, Katie Ouradnik, Nathan Miller, Jenna Miller; and one great grandson: Kohlton. He is further survived by one brother: Melvin (Shirl) Ouradnik; five sisters: Hazel Arneman, Mary Ann Landt, Joan (Harlas) Luckow, Jane Kracht, and Shirley (Allen) Barner; his in-laws: Virginia, and her partner, Linda, Gloria (Stephen) Zietlow, Bette (Dr. Glenn) Popp, Linda (Ted) Taddy, Theresa (Brian) Presl, David (Kim) Gilbert and Teresa Gilbert; along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents and his wife, he was also preceded in death by a daughter: Faye Miller; brothers and sisters: William (Alvina) Ouradnik, Thomas (Gertie) Ouradnik, Norma (Archie) Brouchoud, Evelyn (Harold) Hammerberg, Helen (Gene) Peters, Lorraine (Leonard) Reno and Donald "Jacky" (Mary Ellen) Ouradnik; father-in-law and mother-in-law: Roy C. and Minnie Gilbert; and in-laws: Mary Ann Johnson, Dennis Gilbert and Donny Gilbert.A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 5, 2013, at Deja & Martin Funeral Chapels, 1506 18th St., Two Rivers. Rev. Brett LaChappelle will officiate at the service with burial of his cremated remains in Holy Cross Cemetery, Two Rivers.The family will greet relatives and friends at Deja & Martin Funeral Chapels on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. There will be no Monday evening visitation.Leonard's family extends a special thank you to his niece, Jane Schultz, for all of her help over the past few months.
