Leonard Walter Livermore KB7NEM Forever Silent Key Leonard was born on Dec. 12, 1936 in Tacoma, WA. He passed away at 12:42 PM on Dec. 20, 2011 at Madigan Hospital. Leonard was a Lincoln High School grad, class of 1955. He started in the Naval reserve and went full Navy after six years as an electronics tech. Leonard retired Navy and received his 30-year award. Leonard was known as "Walt" in the HAM radio circles. He was active with the Radio Club of Tacoma and the Boeing Employees' Amateur Radio Society (B.E.A.R.S.). Leonard is survived by stepdaughters Mary Hughes of North Carolina and Lois Spence of San Diego, nephews Ernie Livermore of Gorst, Glen Livermore in Eastern WA, and Mr. Karroll Livermore of Tacoma, nieces Kathy Daniel of Tacoma, Linda Hartcel of Tacoma, and Connie McCallister of Tacoma, nine great-nieces and -nephews, 14 great-great-nieces, and one great-great-great-niece.
