Leroy Elwin Anderson, 82, of Moyock, North Carolina, passed Tuesday, August 11, 2020. Leroy was born to Jack Anderson, and Sylvia Anderson, May 12, 1938 in Glasgow, Missouri. At the age of 12, the family relocated to North Carolina where he met the love of his life, his high school sweetheart he would say. He married Beverly Hewitt in 1952, and they lived together in Moyock until her passing in 2017. Leroy worked as an mechanic until the age of 62, having found a love for the skill at a young age. In his retirement, Leroy’s passion was finding things he could "fix". He also enjoyed traveling around the globe and spending time with his sweetheart by the lake fishing.

Leroy is survived by 3 children: Craig Anderson, Robin Anderson, and Lee Anderson. He also is survived by 6 grandchildren.
