Lester Earl Williams, a longtime resident of River Ridge, Louisiana, passed away on Tuesday November 8, 2016 at the age of 80. He was born on January 31, 1936 in Hollandale, Mississippi to his parents, Earl Brewer Williams and Jewel Bailey Williams who preceded him in death. Earl was the beloved and devoted husband of Virginia "Ginger" Bracey Williams. He is survived by his loving daughters, Leslie Lorraine Williams and Lacy Williams Rabe, his son in law Morris Joseph Rabe, his sister Jo Ann Fleming and brother William Larry Williams. He is also survived by his beloved granddaughters, Clara Rita Rabe and Lilly Virginia Rabe and his other loving family members Thomas (Rebekah), Nicholas, Angela, Donaka & John Bakoka. Earl served in the Army before attending Mississippi State University where he was a proud member of the Bulldog Football Team. Earl enjoyed life and was always in the company of his family and numerous friends. He was the Regional Manager of "21" Brands for many years before taking a job with Heaven Hill Distilleries until his recent retirement. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at LAKE LAWN METAIRIE FUNERAL HOME, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd., New Orleans, LA 70124. Tuesday November 15, 2016. Visitation is from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm. A Memorial Service will immediately follow at 12:00pm.
