Lester Calvin McNeelyLUCAS: Lester Calvin McNeely, 86, of Lucas, passed away on Wednesday, January 4, 2017.He was born on February 18, 1930 in Athens, Alabama to William and Christine (Roberts) McNeely. He attended Little Washington Congregational Church and was an avid fan of Alabama football. He also enjoyed golfing and was a member of the Sons of Herman. Lester loved spending time with his family and enjoyed attending the sporting events of his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Lester is survived by five children, Pam (Clark) Hertzler of Lucas, Gregory (Michele) McNeely of New York, Chris (Charlie) Parkison of Mansfield, Billie Sue (Charlie) Reiheld of Shreve, and Tom (Kasey) McNeely of Perrysville; two sisters, Millie Tamburrino and Betty (Ray) Thoman; brother, Eddie (Nikki) McNeely; two sister-in-laws, Carol McNeely and Ellie McNeely; thirteen grandchildren, Allison (Rob) Schuster, Trisha (Andrew) Martin, Tony (Jenny) Cooke, Tiffany ( Brandon) Stewart, Jodie Rhees (Russ), Jason (Tracy) Reiheld, Kevin Reiheld (Hali), Ryan Reiheld, Brandi Reiheld, Katey Stacy, Zach Zeiter, Cody McNeely, Tyler (Chelsea) McNeely; numerous great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, LuVerna (Rickett) McNeely; grandson, Dustin McNeely; sister, Josephine Winters; and two brothers, Melvin and Bill McNeely. Calling hours will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Monday, January 9, 2017 at Werner-Gompf Funeral Services, ltd. 1106 Park Avenue East, Mansfield, Ohio 44905.
