"My whole life is a dark room. One big dark room."
RIP Lester Green, aka "The Entertainer," born on June 2, 1950 and passed away on April 20, 2023 in Palmdale, Minnesota. Surprisingly, he wasn't entertaining enough to prevent a fatal fall.
Lester had a somewhat confusing family tree, with a father named Christopher Palid and a mother named Laura Green. We're not sure what kind of family reunions they had, but we hope there were no awkward moments.
Despite his lack of offspring, Lester lived a fulfilling life as an entertainer. His standup routine was so hilarious that it caused multiple audience members to fall out of their chairs (unlike Lester, they all survived).
Lester was quite the brainiac, graduating from Mitchell High School in 1973 and then attending Harvard. We like to think he majored in "Jokes and Gags" instead of something boring like "Engineering."
In his later years, Lester may have lost some of his physical coordination, but he never lost his sense of humor. In fact, his tombstone reads, "I told you I was clumsy." Rest in peace, Lester.
You can to the family or in memory of Lester Green.
