Levi Roebuck Jr., a beloved resident of the Kemper Meadow Intermediate Care Facility in Forest Park, Ohio, bid farewell to this world on November 29, 2023, at the age of 64. Born on January 7, 1959 to Thelma Lee (Rencher) Roebuck and Levi Roebuck Sr, Levi's life journey was marked by his laughter, resilience and a kind heart. Known for his unwavering spirit, Levi made lasting impressions on all those fortunate enough to cross his path.
As a child, Levi grew up in Cleveland, Ohio, where he attended a variety of special schools, workshops and day programs for the developmentally disabled and for those with Down's Syndrome like him. He approached each day with an infectious zest for life, cherishing simple pleasures and spreading warmth to others. His special skills included swimming and bowling. He also loved to go fishing, play basketball and dance. His favorite TV shows included Batman, The Hulk, Lost In Space, and Rifleman. Levi's departure leaves a void in the hearts of many, his memory serving as a reminder to cherish every moment and live life wholeheartedly. He will be dearly missed. He was preceded in death by his father and mother. Levi leaves to cherish his memory his sister, Dr. Kim Roebuck, a cherished aunt, Glendora Daniels, a host of cousins and heart-felt family friends.
