Lewis S. BaublitzThomasvilleLewis S. Baublitz Sr., 58, passed away unexpectedly on March 23, 2017. He was the husband of Carol D. Baublitz.Lewis was born on March 8, 1959 and was the son of the late Noah and Sandra (Braham) Baublitz. He graduated from Spring Grove Area High School Class of 1977. He was a very dedicated worker and was currently working at Old Dominion Freightlines in Carlisle. He had a great passion for hunting and fishing, and he cherished his family.In addition to his wife, Carol, Lewis is survived by three children, son, Lewis S. Baublitz Jr and wife, Kimberlee of New Cumberland, daughter, Ashley Stoner and husband of Manchester, and son, Chad Baublitz of York; four grandchildren; and his stepfather, Merv Heiner. He is also survived by his brother, Noah Baublitz and wife, Carolyn of Clearfield County; his stepbrothers, David Baublitz Jr. of Thomasville, and Steve Baublitz of York; his sisters, Vickie Trago and husband, Kenneth of Spring Grove, Venus Brown of York, and Heather Baublitz of Hanover; and many nieces and nephews.Following cremation, a memorial service in celebration of his life will be held on Friday March 31, 2017 at 3 p.m. at Harvest Chapel located at 6947 York Rd, Abbottstown, PA 17301 with Dan Mohler officiating.In Lewis' memory, the family asks that you please dress in your camo.Due to the family's severe allergies, in lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory can be made to the family to help defray the funeral costs. www.beckfunerals.com
