Lewis Ray Davis was born on April 5, 1941 to the union of Robert and Lillie Davis, in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. He was one of the Twelve children. He attended Englewood High School. After high school, he mastered the skill his father taught him, auto mechanics."Dad" held serveral other jobs including, working at Seeburg, Felpro as an HVAC technician, also as he always wanted to be his own boss, while giving his customers the best service.
While growing up on the Southside of Chicago, He met Dorothy L. Williams.- they were married in may 1960. From that Union, are six (6) children: Cris, Cristina, Linda, Linzy, Stephen and Bernared.
In july 1985, Lewis and Joan Balentine were married. From that union, three (3) Children were born: Jeremy, Brain, Roxie.
Lewis made his transition, returning to the Author of his life on Sunday, November 17,2019. Proceeding him in death: both patents: Robert and Lillie; along with twin siblings; four brothers: Robert jr , Richard, Jimmy and Larry ; and two sisters : Juanita and Mabel.
Lewis, affectionately nicknamed "Bow", because of his extraordinary archery skill that he learned at an early age, leaves to cherish his memory, three (3) brothers: Willie, James,and Michael; (9) children: Cris, Cristina, Linda, Linzy, Stephen, Bernard, Jeremy, Brain, and Roxie; (13) grandchildren, Daphne, Antawn, Antoine, Bernay, Pierre, Charielle, Ja,miyah, Anna , Stephen, Lashanta, Paul, Craig, and Tiffany (12) great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
