Librada M. Payan, 102, passed away on March 27, 2017 in El Paso, Texas. She was born on February 2, 1915 in Mexico to Jesus & Ciria Moreno. Librada had a passion for gardening, crossword puzzles and storytelling. Librada enjoyed spending time with family and friends, she always kept everyone in her daily prayers. Librada is preceded in death by her Husband: Emiliano G. Payan; Sons: Emiliano Payan JR and Cruz Payan and Daughter: Ines Payan Candelaria. She is survived by her Sons: Maximino M. Payan, Ismael M. Payan Sr., Antonio M. Payan, Cruz M. Payan, Juan M. Payan, and Felipe M. Payan; Daughter: Delfina Payan Segura; and 33 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren and 17 great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 9:00 pm on Friday, March 31, 2017 at Crestview Funeral Home with a Vigil Service at 7:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be at 9:15 am on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery.
