Gill, Lillian C. 95, of Tolleson, passed away October 22, 2016 at her home. She was born on June 19, 1921 in Abilene, Texas to Martha and Benjamin Crist. Lillian moved to Arizona in 1935. She was a beloved long-time educator in the City of Avondale, as well as a small business owner for over 70 years. Lillian also volunteered for many local charitable organizations, and will be missed by many. Lillian is preceded in death by her husband, Joe, and also one son, David. She is survived by her son, Gordon; and also one grandson, Joe. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, November 10 at 11:00am at the Christ Community United Methodist Church, located at 104 West Western Avenue in Avondale.
