LILLIAN EVANOLA HORNBAKER Mueller's Tri-Cities Funeral Home "Nodie" Lillian Evanola Hornbaker was born on December 30, 1925 in Barnsdall, Oklahoma. She died on November 23, 2016 in Kennewick, Washington. When she was 10, she moved to North Hollywood, California. She graduated from Burbank Senior High School on June 15, 1944. She danced with soldiers at the Palladium to the Big Bands. She also worked as a telephone operator. She married on June 20, 1944, and later divorced. Nodie lived in Niwot, Colorado until 1955 when she became part of the movement to open the farmland around Eltopia, Washington. During her time here she was in the flood of 1956, worked on the farm, helped build the United Protestant Church, became a school bus driver, got her cosmetology license and worked at Sandvik until she retired. She is survived by her daughters, Pat and Pam; 5 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and 3 great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Mueller's Tri-Cities Funeral Home, 1401 S Union in Kennewick followed by a gathering in the hospitality room.
