Lillian Afueró Johnson, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on January 1, 2025, at Bronx River Houses, New York, United States.

Born on February 14, 1938, to Josè Fuentes and Amelia Johnson, Lillian brought joy and love to all who knew her. She married her sweetheart, Anthony Alfuero, in 1964, and together they raised four children: Christopher, Mario, Miguel, and April Rheubottom.

Lillian was a graduate of Bronx High School, Class of 1954, where she excelled academically and made lifelong friendships. In her free time, she enjoyed horseback riding and dog rehabilitation, always showing kindness and compassion to animals in need.

Lillian's legacy lives on through her children and grandchildren, who adored her playful spirit and warm heart. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Rest in peace, Lillian, and may your kind soul find eternal peace. You will forever hold a special place in our hearts.
