Lillian Prusiecki Obituary

Oct 13, 1920 - Nov 20, 2015

This obituary is administered by:
PRUSIECKI Lillian Prusiecki, age 96, was called home to the Lord on November 17, 2016, to join her beloved husband Walter, who passed away in 2002. Lillian was born on October 13, 1920, in East Chicago, Indiana and was a lifelong resident of that state. In 1945 she met and married her handsome naval officer, and they enjoyed life together for 62 years. Lillian was a lover first and foremost of her family, but also of art, music, theater and interior design. Her sweet nature, engaging style and fierce independence will be fondly remembered. She leaves behind to cherish her memory 3 children: daughters Candace (Greg) Schelske and Camille (James) Yurgilas, and son Drew (Kellie); 7 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. She passed away in Jacksonville, Florida, where she had been living for the past year. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Northeast Florida Community Hospice ( www.CommunityHospice.com) or to the Cypress Village Employees' Christmas Fund (4600 Middleton Park Circle East, Jacksonville, Florida 32224) in recognition of the kind and caring support she received from both organizations, and for which her family is deeply grateful. Private graveside services will be held in Indiana.
