It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Lillie Mae Linen, who left this world on May 23, 2024, in Cleveland, Ohio.

Lillie was born on October 19, 1939, to Luther and Ida Linen. She was a beloved mother to Mary, Donna-Louise, Shawn, Vontella, and Joe. Lillie also leaves behind 8 grandchildren, Tamika, Isaiah, Donell, Daniel, Elijah, Christian, Shawn Jr. and Chantelle whom she adored. Lillie's life was a collection of chapters that told a story of dedication, love, and kindness.

She is survived by her younger sister, Hattie; her great-grandchildren, and a community that will forever be inspired by her life's work. She now joins her beloved parents and cousins that proceeded her in eternal rest.

Known for her strong spirit and love of bowling, Lillie brought joy and laughter wherever she went. Her competitive nature on the lanes was matched only by her kindness and generosity off of them. Aside from bowling, she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She took pride in hosting and making sure her family knew who their other family was.

Lillie passed away from a heart attack, but she will forever be remembered for her warm smile, infectious laugh, unbiased truth. and unwavering love for her family and friends.

Rest in peace, Lillie Mae. Your memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who were lucky enough to know you.
