It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Lilly Cook, born on April 7, 1973, in Sacramento, California, United States. Lilly, beloved wife of Willie Cook and cherished mother of Dona Bentley, Shana Wilson, and Dwight Pete, peacefully passed away on December 29, 2025, after battling a stroke.

Lilly was the daughter of Jon and Mary Mills, two loving parents who instilled in her a strong work ethic and unwavering dedication to her family. Lilly was a devoted partner to Willie Cook and a loving mother to her three children. She was also a proud grandmother to four amazing grandchildren.

Lilly attended Sierra Canyon High School and continued her studies at the University of California, graduating in 1999. She then went on to work at Mater Dei High School, where she dedicated many years of service before retiring in 2011.

Lilly was known for her kind heart, infectious laugh, and unwavering love for her family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
