Lincoln Oliver Durant was born on April 17, 2010. From birth, he was challenged with a rare genetic condition called Lowe's Syndrome. Complications from this eventually took his life. He passed away at Valley Children's Hospital on Friday, October 7, 2016, in the arms of his loving mother, and surrounded by his family. His happy shake, wild fluffy hair, cute Coke bottle glasses, and all the unforgettable hugs will be sorely missed. "God be with you Lincoln, until we meet again. Families are forever." Lincoln is survived by his parents, Seth and Janeen Durant; five siblings, Caleb, Alexis, Wendell, Alyssa, and Sawyer; his grandparents; many aunts and uncles; and many many cousins. We express appreciation in particular to Addicott Elementary School; Valley Children's Hospital Physical and Occupational Therapy; The Van Ness Ward Latter-Day Saints congregation; and any others who invested time and love into our little boy. A Viewing will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 5431 N. Maroa Ave., Fresno, CA on Saturday, October 15, 2016, at 9:00 a.m. followed with a Funeral Service at 10:00 a.m. and a burial to follow. All are welcome. Lincoln will be laid to rest in the Belmont Memorial Gardens. He will stay there for a time but not forever. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Lowe Syndrome Association. Arrangements provided by Farewell Funeral Services.
