Linda,
Only God knows how deeply your life touched and blessed so many people. You had the most caring and giving heart. Your smile and your laughter were contagious. Let's talk about that amazing voice of yours. God blessed you with many talents but when you sang, something special happened. Hearts were moved, blessed, and uplifted. Your voice will be remembered by all that knew you. Linda, you brought joy wherever you went, and your sense of humor was such a gift to all of us.
A beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away on October 9, 2024, in Belleville, Michigan. She was born on June 11, 1966, to proud parents Allen V. Roper and Juanita M. Roper that have preceded you in death .You gave birth to three beautiful daughters whom you cherished with all your heart, Lintecia, Ashley, and Erica. Your beautiful sisters Sheila, Claudia, Crystal, Tina, Veronica and your brother Allen adored you. Your nieces, nephews, friends, and your beloved husband Kenya all loved you dearly. We were all drawn to you because of your warmth, kindness, and the unique light that you carried within.
Linda, you were like a flower that God planted here on earth. Everyone who experienced your sweet fragrance blossomed and grew in some way because of you. So, when God chose to pluck that beautiful flower, many of us struggled to understand why. But you knew. You knew because your heart and spirit were ready. You loved God with all your soul, and that love shone through in your radiant smile.
During you last few days in your hospital room, you received communion and prayed together with family. You gave us a "thumbs up," reassuring us that you were at peace and that we would see you again on the other side. We hold onto that hope and cherish the memories of your beautiful spirit forever.
2 Corinthians 5:8 To be absent from the body, is to be present with the Lord.
We love you always, your family and friends.
