Linda Stott Hamilton, age 67, returned home to be with her Father in Heaven on Sunday, November 10, 2019 in Layton, Utah.
She was born on January 4, 1952 in Salt Lake City, Utah, the daughter of Lorna Shelton and Leon James Stott.
She lived in Salt Lake with her grandparents until the age of 13 when she and her mom moved to Clearfield, Utah. She graduated from Clearfield High School in 1970.
Linda met her sweetheart Randall Dean Hamilton at a church dance. They married in the Salt Lake Temple on February 11, 1972.
She enjoyed reading and cross stitching.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
She is survived by her sister Karen Stott and her brothers William Morgan and Michael Morgan.
She is also survived by her children, Jennifer Lynn (Arno) Haufe, Daniel Dean (Laura) Hamilton, Tonya Marie (Kelly) Ferrin, Diana Kay Hamilton, 14 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Randall Dean Hamilton.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, November 16, 2019 at 11 a.m. at Clearfield City Cemetery, 1050 South State Street, Clearfield. Friends may visit family Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 10 to 10:30 a.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.
