This obituary is administered by:
Linda B. WrightAge: 69 • Essex Jct., VT & Henderson, NVLinda B. Wright, 69, passed away peacefully on Tues. April 18th, 2017 with her children by her side. She was born on Jan. 25, 1948 in Burlington, VT, daughter of Gerald and Hazel Bergeron. Linda Lee Marie Bergeron married Larry Wright, the love of her life, on Nov. 19, 1966 and they began their family in Vergennes before relocating to Essex Jct. where Larry was employed at IBM. Linda's primary job was raising her four children, but she also worked at General Electric, Trinity College, Howard Johnson's, and the Best Western Inn throughout the years. Larry retired after nearly 25 yrs with IBM at which time he and Linda relocated to Las Vegas, NV area where she was employed at Excalibur Casino until the time of her injury. She was always a hard worker, highly respected and valued by both her managers and coworkers, and adored by the general public for her bubbly outgoing personality and beaming smile. Linda was a proud patriotic American like Larry, both having a profound love for our country and the military personnel that protect our freedoms. She donated to countless charities having a heart of gold, unable to say no to those less fortunate and in need of help. Linda was the devoted wife of Larry for 43 yrs before his passing on Aug. 12, 2010. She longed to be reunited with him in God's Kingdom for the past nearly seven years as she struggled with daily pain and multiple medical issues. The Good Lord has finally answered her prayers and called her Home to him. She was a dedicated and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend to all who were blessed to know her. Linda is survived by her four children John, Bryan, Kristy, Tony and wife Ilene Wright; her grandchildren Nicole, Melinda, Dia, Jacob, Caleb, Zachary, Madison, and Joshua; and her great granddaughter Lily May. She is also survived by her siblings Mary, Florence, Dick, Barbara, Rose, Theresa, and Donald, as well as a large extended family of nieces, nephews and cousins. Being a social butterfly Linda had many friends too numerous to list, all of whom held a special place in her heart. She was predeceased by her soulmate Larry G. Wright and her siblings James, Sandy, Hilda and Sharon. Linda requested no viewing hours, but agreed to allow a service for those who wish to pay their respects. The service will be held at the church where she and Larry were married and where Larry's service was held, St. Paul's Episcopal Church at the intersection of Park and Main St. in Vergennes, VT on Tuesday June 06, 2017 at 3:00pm. Private burial will follow the next day on Larry's birthday when she will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband, urns touching! at Vermont Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Randolph Center, VT. In lieu of flowers, Linda requested that you please make a donation to the Wounded Warriors Foundation, the charity closest to her heart, in honor of Linda B. and Larry G. Wright.
