We’re gathered here today to honor her life and her legacy of strength. She did not have it easy coming up but she learned to survive and make a way. We are proud of her because although she was not perfect, her love for her children knew no ends. She taught us the value of love, forgiveness, and perseverance in the face of adversity and she taught us to realize our dreams and to never give up on them. She was a constant in our lives, always having a word of wisdom and/or encouragement whether sought after or not. To know our mom was to love her. Her words were few, her intent absolute and her love unconditional. She was a warrior and she was our warrior and was always there for us and even in her death, remains with us. She will never be forgotten, and we will honor her legacy.
We thank each of you for your love and your support. Now enough with all these gray tidings, let us celebrate the life of a beautiful woman whose faith escorted her to her final resting place. We know we’ll see her again one day and whatever she meant to each of you, I pray that you see the light that underlay her life and love on your folks and appreciate and respect your parents because you truly only get one and we are ever indebted for the wonderful one we had.
Rest in peace our love...
We are truly proud of the good work you did while you were here.
