Linda D. (Carlson) Salmon died on November 8, 2016 at South Shore Hospital in Weymouth. She was born on May 5, 1945 in Boston, MA to Chester and Kathryn (Hughes) Carlson. Linda was raised and educated in Abington but has made her home in Weymouth since 1999. She had been an operator for the past 15 years for Verizon. Previously, Linda worked at the Bomark and Klear-Vu Corporation in Fall River for many years as a secretary. Linda was the loving mother of Christopher Salmon of Florida. She was the sister of Karen Sluzack of Hanover and Kathryn Patry of Rockland. She will be dearly missed by her nieces and nephews. The family welcomes friends and loved ones to celebrate her life on Friday November 18, 2016 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. in the Magoun- Biggins Funeral Home 135 Union St. in Rockland. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 19, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home. After cremation, burial will follow at St. Patricks Cemetery in Rockland, MA.
