WOLCOTTVILLE — Linda R. Kreider, 58, died Thursday, Oct. 29, 2015 at her home. Mrs. Kreider was born on Nov. 1, 1956 in Kendallville, Indiana, to Burl and Helen (Keck) Clark. Linda was a 1974 graduate of Bryan High School in Bryan, Ohio. She went on to graduate in 1984 from Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona, with a Bachelor of Science degree in business. Living most of her lifetime in the Bryan, Ohio, and Wolcottville, Indiana, areas, she was a member of Topeka Baptist Church in Topeka, Indiana, and taught Sunday school there for many years. She made Christmas baskets for the Franklin Graham's Samaritan's Purse, enjoyed Dallas Bay Book Club, was an elaborate party thrower and Master Gardener and did interior design. Linda was currently working at S&H Metal in Topeka, Indiana, and had worked in the past for Micor-Age Computer Stores in Tempe, Arizona; Tite-Lok, Bahama Mama's, and The Fast Lane, all in Topeka, and Kreider Manufacturing in Ligonier, Indiana. On Feb. 14, 1992 in Wolcottville, Indiana, she married Richard Amos Kreider. He survives in Wolcottville, Indiana. Also surviving is her mother, Helen Baird of Kendallville, Indiana; five children and their spouses, Larry Daniel and Lisa Kreider of Wolcottville, Indiana, Christopher and Tonya Kreider of Wall Lake, Indiana, Amiee Kvasir of San Leandro, California, Megan and Lewis LaPlante of Chicago, Illinois, and Eric Kreider of Wolcottville, Indiana; four grandchildren, Adam, Evan, Haden and Garrett Kreider; and six sisters and brothers-in-law, Jan and Gary Bollinger of LaGrange, Indiana, Nancy and Kenny Helzel of Wolcottville, Indiana, Kelly and Bill Ward of Bryan, Ohio, Marie and David Burch of Bryan, Ohio, Sandy and Bert Babcock of Archbold, Ohio, BurlAnn and John Brown of Minot, North Dakota. Her father, Burl Clark preceded her in death. Funeral services will take place on Saturday, Nov. 7, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Topeka Baptist Church, 104 North St., Topeka, Indiana, with Rev. Lyn Stutzman officiating. Visitation will take place on Friday, Nov. 6, 2015 from 5-8 p.m. at Frurip-May Funeral Home, 309 W. Michigan St., LaGrange, IN. Burial will take place at a later date in Woodland Cemetery in Wolcottville, Indiana. Memorials may be made to Samaritan's Purse, P.O. Box 3000, Boone, NC, 28607.
