SHORT, LINDA RECCHIA (LYNN) Linda Recchia Short (Lynn) passed away peacefully on November 12, 2016 in the loving presence of her husband Bob Short. Lynn was born on February 26, 1943 in New Haven. After retiring from Yale New Haven Hospital in 2013, she made the most of every moment by visiting family and pursuing her numerous passions in life including knitting, cooking, book club, traveling, and especially, photography. Her goal was to be “the best grandma ever,” and that she was! In addition to her husband, Lynn is survived by her loving children Christopher (Michelle) Short, Amy (David) Sussmann, and Jennifer (Alex) Kattamis, her ten grandchildren Jessica, Cameron, Benjamin, Victoria, Jack, Christopher, Adam, James, Jacob, and Julia, who were her pride and joy, her sister Gail Shahine and her brother Rick Recchia She is predeceased by her mother Annette Recchia, father Mario Recchia and brother Gary Recchia. A mass will be held in honor of her amazing life on November 25th, 2016 at eleven o’clock at St Therese’s Church in Branford Connecticut followed immediately by a reception at Amarante’s Sea Cliff in New Haven.
