Linda ReedAGE: 62 • Toms RiverLinda Reed, aged 62, passed away Friday, September 8, 2017 in Orlando, Florida surrounded by her children and her husband. Linda was born on December 27, 1954 in Jersey City, New Jersey, the daughter of Louis Lopez and Sadie Briguglio. She grew up in North Bergen, New Jersey as the oldest of four siblings and was nicknamed "Chippy" by her mom who she adored. She moved to Toms River, New Jersey in 1984 where she met her "main squeeze" Robert Reed. They were married in 2000. Linda worked as a receptionist at JC Penney from 1999 to 2010 and her laugh, smile and North Jersey accent became a staple of the store. Everyone would agree that her biggest accomplishment was being a mother to her three daughters. Linda loved unconditionally in every sense of the word. She lived and breathed for her family and she will always be remembered for what an incredible and selfless mother she was. Linda brightened every room she entered. She had a life-long love affair with Dunkin Donuts coffee, Italian tomato sandwiches and macaroni and gravy. She was an avid animal lover and kind to all. Linda's spirit is carried on by her husband Robert Reed; her three daughters, Jamie Cipriano and husband Eric, Dana DeMasi and husband Tom and Shannon Dickson and husband Dwight; her two stepsons, Daryl Reed and wife Alex and their three children and Christopher Reed and wife Jessie; her seven grandchildren, Anthony, Gabriella, Giavonna, Ashlyn, Anabel, Nolan and Jake; her three adoring siblings Carol Lopez, Louis Lopez and John Lopez and an extended family of friends from every walk of life. Visitation will be held at Kedz Funeral Home, 1123 Hooper Ave., Toms River on Saturday from 9:00am until the service time at 11:00am.
