Baker, Linda Susan Lesley Retired Wichita City employee, was born on February 26, 1949 in Hugoton, Kansas. She graduated from Elkhart High School and attended Emporia State University, then married Harlan Baker on June 18, 1972, and had a son, Spencer and daughter, Erin. Linda enjoyed her work with the City of Wichita for 28 years and retired in 2013. She loved to travel with her husband and group of friends, and spend time with her children and grandchildren. In her spare time, she also loved to sew and quilt. Linda is survived by husband, Harlan J. of Wichita; son, Spencer of Concordia; daughter, Erin Evans (Joshua) and their children, Brayden, Chase and Camille of Shawnee, KS; siblings, Vera Fellers of Seattle, Jim Lesley (Loretta) of Mena, AR, Helen Williams (Ivan) of Hot Springs, AR, Sheron Addington (Jim) of Wichita, and Allan Baker of Neptune Beach, FL. She is preceded in death by two sisters and a brother. Services will be held 3 p.m. Thursday, January 21, 2016, at Resthaven Mortuary. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, 313 S. Market St., Wichita, KS 67202.
