It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Lindsey Dugas, born on February 1, 1991, in Scott, Louisiana. She peacefully departed from this world on September 18, 2023, leaving behind a legacy of love and laughter.
Lindsey was the cherished daughter of Marshall James Dugas Jr and Peggy Matthews. From the very beginning, she brought joy and happiness to their lives, a true bundle of sunshine. Lindsey was a devoted partner to her loving spouse, Ryan Rodriguez. Their beautiful journey as soulmates began in the year 2030.
Lindsey and Ryan's love blossomed over the years, and they were blessed with three incredible children, Derick, Alexandra, and Alicia. These little darlings were a constant source of pride and pure delight. Their laughter filled the home, and memories were built on endless family adventures and shared moments of joy.
Lindsey's heart of gold and caring nature extended beyond her immediate family. She dedicated herself to her studies at North Vermilion High School, where she graduated in 2009. Continuing her pursuit of knowledge, she attended Delta College, nurturing her thirst for learning.
Lindsey's professional journey led her to Ochsner Lafayette General, where she poured her passion into helping others. Her bright smile and compassionate nature brought solace to those in need, leaving an indelible impact on all whose lives she touched.
It is worth noting that Lindsey was one proud grandmother, surrounded by the laughter and boundless energy of eight adoring grandchildren. Their affection for her was immeasurable, as was the love she poured back into their hearts.
Lindsey's departure from this world came as a result of natural causes. Amidst our grief, we take solace in knowing that she rests in eternal peace, free from any pain or suffering. As we bid farewell to this incredible soul, let us remember Lindsey for the radiant light she brought into our lives
Lindsey Dugas, may your spirit continue to shine brightly in the hearts of all those who were lucky enough to know you. You will forever hold a special place in our hearts.
