Linus Morrison, 68, of Proctorville, Ohio, passed on November 05, 2023. Linus was born on August 16, 1955. He was preceded in death by his Mother Opal Lee Maynard, sister Sheila Graham and youngest brother Andrew Maynard.

Linus is survived by his brother Zeiglar (Red) Morrison and Jake Morrison. Also by his children; Toby Morrison (Heather) of Winfield Wv, April Williams (Jonathan), Christian Morrison and Jenny Morrison. Many Grandchildren; Aj McComas, Walker McComas, Dawson McComas and Madelyn (Maddy) Morrison.

Linus was a retired truck driver. A “Simple Man”. He enjoyed exploring the open roads and discovering new and exciting places. As much as he enjoyed his life on the road, he really LOVED spending his retirement playing golf, disc golfing, spending time at the ball fields watching his grandkids, volunteering and umpiring youth sports. He will be missed by many.

Details: Per his final wishes Linus wanted to be cremated and have his ashes laid with his mom and brother. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate a donation in Linus’ name made out to a reputable suicide prevention/awareness charity such as The Ohio Suicide Prevention Foundation, AFSP, HFTD, The Jed Foundation and many more. There will also be a Repass Reception held directly after the memorial in the reception hall at the cemetery where there will be a slideshow created by his children.
