We mourn the loss of Lionel Jones, born on June 6, 1955, in Rochester, New York, United States. He passed away on June 28, 2024. Lionel was the beloved son of Richard Jones and Rochell Barkside. He was married to Jewels Jones for 9 years and together they had two children, Yantise Jones and Lionel Jones Jr.

Lionel attended John Marshall High School and graduated in 1974. He pursued a career as a Medical Assistant and dedicated over 40 years to this profession before retiring in 2019. Lionel had a passion for molding and enjoyed spending time with his grandson, whom he adored deeply.

Lionel's departure was a result of a sudden heart attack, leaving his family and loved ones in sorrow. He will be remembered for his kind heart, warm smile, and loving spirit. Lionel's presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
