It is with great sadness and a touch of humor that we announce the passing of Lise Laborde, who left this world on May 21, 2024. Born on November 29, 1929, in Quebec, Quebec, Canada, Lise was the daughter of Karl and Micelina Jean. She was the beloved wife of Bosseut Laborde for 92 years, having tied the knot in year 32.

Lise was a loving mother to her four children, Jean Laborde (spouse Zette Laborde), Ernest Laborde (spouse Mirlande Laborde), Matt Laborde (spouse Rose Laborde), and Michelina Cadet (spouse Kevin Cadet). She was also a proud grandmother of four grandchildren, whom she loved dearly.

Lise had a passion for drawing and could often be found lost in her art projects, creating beautiful pieces that brought joy to those around her. She had a sharp wit and a great sense of humor that could always lift the spirits of those in her presence.

Unfortunately, Lise's battle with cancer has come to an end, but we take comfort in knowing that she is now at peace. Her laughter and love will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a cancer research foundation in Lise's honor. Rest in peace, dear Lise, and may your drawings continue to bring smiles to those in heaven.
