Lizzie Madison passed away on Thanksgiving Day Thursday, November 28, 2013. She was born on July 18, 1924 Halston, LA.Lizzie worked at Chretins Mexican Food for 37 years before retiring. She enjoyed cooking and singing. Lizzie is survived by three children, Carl Morris, Melva Davis, and Joyce Ann Adams; two sisters, Ledora Jackson and Sally Mae Jenkins; one brother, Robert Hughes; 11 grandchildren, Donnie Thompson, Donald Thompson, Donna Simien, Brad Thompson, Carl Morris Jr., Angela Morris, Tracy Morris, Natasha Winton, Cyresia Winton, Anthony Brookins, and Denise Brookins; 23 great-grandchildren; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Corinthia Madison Sr; children, Betty Thompson, and John H. Morris.Viewing will be held Friday, December 6, 2013 at Yuma Mortuary; 5pm to 8pm. Funeral services will be on Saturday at Yuma Mortuary at 10am.
