Lloyd BullardLloyd Bullard, 88, of Troy, Illinois, born on July 3, 1928, in Charleston, Mo., passed away, Friday, Oct. 21, 2016, in Edwardsville, Ill. peacefully surrounded by his loved ones.Lloyd possessed a loving, generous, and selfless personality. His work ethic and strong willed persona were obviously shown through hismany talents and work throughout his life. He married the love of his life Dorothy Daniel and to this union brought three daughters and one son. Lloyd worked as a Steel Mill worker for over 29 years. His interests included singing gospels at church, gardening, planting and woodworking. Lloyd also grew to raise doves, chicken, pigeons, and a variety of other birds. He had a profound niche with the outdoors.He was a loving dad, grandpa, great grandpa, brother, uncle, and dear friend. He will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 29 years, Dorothy Bullard; his parents, Clarence and Nettie, nee Hale Bullard, two sister, and four brothers.Surviving are his children; Edna McDonald, Paula (Gary) Burcham, Ron (Edwina) Bullard, and Carolyn (John) Cline; his grandchildren, Jim McDonald, Beth (Chris) Habermehl, Heather Bullard, Nick (Emily) Bullard, Rebecca Cline, Benjamin (Elizabeth) Cline, and Jacob (Victoria) Cline; his great grandchildren Taylor, Devin, Bella, Max, and one little bundle of joy on the way; his siblings, Byrle Bullard and Helen Ozburn, his nieces and nephews that will miss their "Uncle Cricket" and dear relatives and friends.In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations are appreciated to The Backstoppers Association or BJC Hospice, of Alton, Illinois.
