Lois Ann Tingley, 70, of Vancouver, Washington, passed away on February 19, 2024. She was born on July 22, 1953, in Yakima, Washington. Lois Ann spent her life helping people and was an advocate for many causes. She dedicated much of her time to raising her two children and being there for her Grandchildren. She was known as the best Wife, Mother, Mamma, Sister, and Friend anyone could ask for. Lois Ann was a fighter who never gave up and always strived to make a difference in the lives of others. She is survived by her Daughter Angela (Tingley) Jones, Son In Law Shywhan Jones, Son Joshua Tingley, Daughter In Law Crystal Tingley and Grandchildren Keyana Jones, Shywhan Jones II, Dakota Tingley, and Dontae Jones. Lois Ann was preceded in death by her Father Gail Golphenee, Mother Lois Golphenee, and siblings Gerald Golphenee, Gail Eugene Golphenee, and Wanda Faye McTigue. Lois Ann attended AC Davis High School in Yakima, WA, and later pursued higher education at Antioch University in Seattle, WA. Her career involved working with developmentally disabled adults and children. She was working towards becoming a domestic violence counselor for women of Eastern Cultures, fulfilling her goal after spending six months interning in India. In her free time, Lois Ann enjoyed gardening, sewing, arts and crafts with her grandchildren, hosting tea parties, collecting jewelry, quilting, and making windchimes and walking sticks. She worshipped at the Church of Christ. A Celebration of Life service for Lois Ann Tingley is to be announced. Rest in peace, Lois Ann. Your legacy of kindness and determination will be cherished by all who knew you.
