Lois Ann "Peggy" IceJuly 19, 1941 - May 5, 2017ShippensburgLois Ann "Penny" Ice, 75, departed this life on the morning of Friday, May 5, 2017.She was born on July 19, 1941, in Frostburg, MD, the daughter of the late Lloyd and Altha Mae Hockman Morton.Penny worked as a hairdresser throughout her life. She enjoyed going to the beach and just simply being around the water. When her children were young she would take the family camping at Breezy Point on the Chesapeake Bay. Penny enjoyed playing the lottery and especially spending time with her family.She is survived by four children, Edward Ice of Shippensburg, Steve Ice of Altoona, Jim Ice of Saxton, and Ronda "Kay" (Lowery, Jr.) Varner of Shippensburg; four granddaughters, Lacey Bucher, Larissa Pace, Stephanie Varner, and Angie Varnerand; two grandsons, Colt Varner and Steve Ice, Jr., and six great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Penny was preceded in death by her brother, Les Morton formerly of Fairfield.Her funeral services, entrusted to the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc., Shippensburg, will be private.
