Castro, Lois (Sinyella) Lois (Sinyella) Castro passed away with family by her side on Sunday, February 26, 2017 in Mesa, AZ. She was 53. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, March 2, 2017 with Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. at Queen of Heaven Catholic Funeral Home, 1562 E. Baseline Rd., Mesa, AZ 85204. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 a.m., Friday, March 3, 2017 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, 2121 S. Rural Rd., Tempe, AZ 85282 with burial to follow at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery. Lois was born on March 4, 1963 in Kingman, AZ. She was adopted as a baby by Mr. & Mrs. Frank Castro of Parker, AZ. Lois grew up in Parker, Bagdad, and Tempe, AZ and graduated from Corona Del Sol High School. Lois moved to Maryland where she worked in the restaurant business. Lois was a long time resident of Ocean City, MD, where she spent many days on the boardwalk and enjoying her time near the ocean. Lois moved to Salisbury, MD and enjoyed spending time with her son, James "Jimmy" Culver, while continuing her work in the restaurant business. Lois visited family in Arizona on a regular basis, including holidays and special occasions. Lois struggled with health issues, but it never kept her from enjoying the things she loved the most, which were family and friends. Lois loved to dance, have fun, and socialize with everyone around her. Lois had a kind heart and was very generous. Lois loved her Catholic faith and attended church often. Lois made sure Jimmy received all of his sacraments, and she was very proud of her faith. Lois' finest achievement was her son Jimmy, whom she raised to become the fine young man he is today. Lois is survived by her son, Jimmy, parents, Frank & Edna, siblings, Vee, Angel, Enedina & Andrea, all of Tempe, AZ along with Sue & Nora Sinyella of Peach Springs, AZ.
