Lois H. LeyhHouston, Formerly of Abilene, TXLois H. Leyh, 91, of Houston, formerly of Abilene, passed away Thursday, July 20, 2017. Family and Friends will gather for a graveside service at 10:00AM, Monday, August 7, 2017 in Elmwood Memorial Park, under the direction of North's Funeral Home, 242 Orange Street.Mrs. Leyh was born on June 10, 1926 in Camp Wood, Texas to William H. and Bettie (Stillwell) Hibbitts. She married Robert "Bob" Leyh and moved to Abilene in 1964. Lois was a member of the First Central Presbyterian Church. She was an active member and officer of the local John Davis Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution for over twenty-five years.Lois lived in Abilene until August of 2014 when she moved to Houston to be near her family. She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-six years, "Bob", her father, and mother, William H. and Betty Hibbitts, her brother, Charles Hibbitts, sisters, Doris Beazley and Vivian Hibbitts. She is survived by her son, Steven Leyh and wife Mary Lou, daughter, Karen Norberg, as well as grandchildren and a great-granddaughter and one brother, Robert Hibbitts.
