Lois Virginia ChaseVero Beach, FLLois Chase, of Northampton, Massachusetts and Vero Beach, Florida, age 85, beloved mother and "Ammie" died Monday, October 23, 2017 at the age of 85. She was born on December 25, 1931 to Ralph and Velma Housman.Lois worked for many years as the Supervisor of Bookkeeping at the Northampton National Bank in Northampton, MA. After the passing of her husband Carl B. Chase, she moved to Vero Beach with her good friends, Al Drew and Claudette. Vero is where she met her partner of 22 years, James O'Neill. She is survived by her son Mark Chase (Theresa), her daughter Melanie Gulow (Bob Haynes), her grandchildren, Bryant Chase, Sheri Chase, Jamie Phillips (Richie), Jennifer White (Andrew) and partner James O'Neill. She is also survived by her great-granddaughters Mia Martinez and Anabelle Phillips. Lois was predeceased by her husband Carl, daughter Laurie Nuttelman and brother Dudley Housman.Burial will be private.
