Lonnie Hatfield, age 63, of Somerset, Kentucky, passed from this life on Wednesday, August 23, 2023 at Ephraim McDowell Hospital in Danville, KY.

Lonnie was born on December 16, 1959 to the late Howard Hatfield and Bobbie Davis Hatfield of Somerset, KY. He was of the Pentecostal faith.  He enjoyed the outdoors, church and spending time with his wife. He was always outside working or in his garden.

Lonnie was proceeded in life by his parents, Howard Hatfield of Somerset, KY, and Bobbie Hatfield of Somerset, KY, and his son Lonnie Ray Hatfield (Ray Ray), of Somerset, KY.

He leaves behind to cherish him, his wife, Janie Foster Hatfield of Somerset, KY, daughter Tara Renee Hatfield Dabney of Mount Vernon, KY, sister Joy Darlene Hatfield Henderson of Lexington, KY, sister Tabatha Gay Hatfield Barrett, of Somerset, KY.

Along with grandchildren, Hannah Abney of Mount Vernon, KY and Haylee Abney of Mount Vernon, KY.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 25, 2023 from 5-8 PM at Southern Oaks Funeral Home in Somerset.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, August 26, 2023 in the chapel at Southern Oaks Funeral Home from 1-3 PM. Following funeral will be burial in cemetery. Southern Oaks Funeral Home in entrusted with the arrangements for Lonnie Hatfield.
