Lora Lee Rita Anticich, age 88, died peacefully in the arms of her family on October 26, 2016, at St. Tammany Parish Hospital of natural causes. Lora Lee was born on October 7, 1928 in New Orleans, LA., the daughter of Charles R. Watzke, Jr. and Geraldine Dodge. She was the beloved wife of the late Andrew R. Anticich, since their marriage on December 4, 1945. Lora Lee was a devoted wife and mother and her love and devotion to her husband and children was exceptional. Her beauty and poise were her hallmarks and she was also unmatched in her gardening ability and her skill in the kitchen will be sadly missed. She was able to take the healthiest dish and convert it into a delicious calorie bomb to the delight of everyone. Lora Lee is survived by her daughters Janis Saucier (Henry) and Tanya Anticich. By her sons Calvin Anticich (Diane), the late Kevin Anticich, Craig Anticich (Joan) and Troy Anticich (Kathryn). She is also survived by seven grandchildren: Andrea Saucier Crowe, Desiree Saucier Saenz, Michael Anticich, Christopher Anticich, Natalya Ortolano, Nadia Anticich and Luke Anticich. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren: Stella Crowe and Dominick, Victor and Annalisa Saenz. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service Mass on Friday, October 28, 2016, at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, Mandeville; at 1:30 p.m. Visitation at the church on Friday from 12:30 p.m. until Mass begins. The Inurnment will take place on Saturday morning, October 29, 2016, at Metairie Cemetery at 10:00 a.m. Arrangements entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, Covington, LA.
